I recently wrapped up a client e-design kitchen project that I am so excited to share.
The current kitchen has all wooden cabinets and dated countertops. The floors are a dark wood, recently updated and really pretty. The appliances are staying for now and while the homeowners had an idea of what they wanted the space to look like, they were struggling to pull all their ideas together.
After chatting about inspiration pictures and reviewing the project questionnaire, I started with two mood boards.
Both of these designs gave the client a clean white feel that they requested but the designs varied in color. After reviewing the mood boards together, I was able to get a clear idea of exactly what they wanted and mixed the mood boards together to get to the final design.
This rendering shows the final design concept. It's fresh and clean, making the space feel completely new with cosmetic changes. I proposed painting the current cabinets white, painting and relocating the hardware, adding new counters and backsplash, extending the moulding, and including a few other decor pieces to tie it all together. I love how the design turned out and I can't wait to see them execute the design from here.
